July 16, 2020 Meeting Minutes

6pm-6:30pm Neighbor Check-Ins

Attendees included Jasmine, Miriam, Millicent, Adam, Femi, Frank and Fletcher

6:30pm-6:45pm Dumpster Program

· For the next round of dumpsters, we will schedule them during the week rather than on a weekend. The city will take away full dumpsters and bring new ones if they are scheduled during the week.

· We are looking for a location on the north side that may be more beneficial.

· There is a big pile of trash that appears to have fallen off the dumpster at 7th and Phoenix. Jasmine will contact Joel to see if they will pick it up. Otherwise, we need to schedule a bulky trash pick up or ask a neighbor to use their dumpster.

6:45pm-7pm pH House Update

The Well continues to provide services three days a week:

· Wednesdays 9am-11am Free pastries and coffee

· Thursdays 4pm-6pm Free grocery giveaway

· Sundays 5:30pm-6:30pm Free grab and go dinner

Miriam and Jasmine will follow up regarding extending the lease and the use of the hotspot.

We are also seeking feedback about potential future uses of the space

7pm-7:15pm Celebrate Diversity Signs/Fundraiser

· The signs have earned 222 dollars for the CHNA

· We still have signs available for you and your friends

· Members voted to establish a paypal account linked to CHNA bank account in order to accept electronic payments more easily

7:15pm-7:30pm Mask Mandate

· A mask mandate is in effect for Tulsa. All folks are required to wear masks in public spaces except when eating, drinking or swimming.

7:30pm-7:45pm Brainstorm Neighborhood Engagement During COVID-19

· We will work on scheduling speakers for meetings and improving advertisements for meetings in advance

· Millicent has volunteered to pass out fliers around the neighborhood

7:45pm-8pm Closing + Upcoming Events

· August meeting will be a One Year Celebration at Newblock Park! Details to come.

· Planning for Fall garage sale is in the works. Contact Millicent if you are interested in supporting the planning committee.

· Plan to invite representatives to September meeting.
