6pm-6:30pm Neighbor Check-Ins
Discussed neighbor successes, challenges and things they are looking forward to. Jasmine, Larry and Miriam in attendance.
6:30pm-6:45pm Resident News Article
Discussed a Crosbie Heights resident who has recently been in the news for displaying large signs in his yard against the LGBTQ population, specifically directed at his neighbors. Brainstormed ideas to engage with this resident and find a solution.
6:45pm-7pm Community Garden Update
Matt is currently battling Bermuda grass in the garden. Please stop by and pull some weeds if you are able. He is working on building soil structure and making garden beds. Matt typically spends time in the garden on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. He would like to start up a neighborhood compost collection service. If you need a bucket, it would be a 5 dollar deposit. If you have your own bucket, the service would be offered for free to start. Matt would pick up compost on Saturdays and return the bucket.
7pm-7:15pm pH House Update
Jennifer Powers will begin subleasing the pH Community House to The Well beginning in June. They will be taking over the lease for three months. The Well intends to use the space to provide support to Crosbie Heights residents including food, supplies and mental health services.
7:15pm-7:45pm Brainstorm Neighborhood Engagement during COVID-19
Some ideas include:
A social distance picnic at Newblock Park
Virtual skill share gatherings such as cooking, art, building etc.
7:45pm-8pm Closing + Reminder about June elections

Oklahoma elections are on June 30th-don’t forget to apply online for an absentee ballot
